While we’ve been temporarily grounded, we are fortunate to call one of the world’s most coveted countries home. It’s been wonderful seeing a renaissance in intrastate and interstate travel, which demonstrates the resilience and passion of Australians eager to explore our own backyard and support the tourism industry which has been so heavily impacted by drought, bushfires and, of course, COVID-19.  The moment we were able to plan a holiday in our own state, people did just that, resulting in many of the country’s luxury lodges and high-end properties booking out well in advance.

The appetite for travel is as strong as ever, especially as we continue to realise that much of what we journey overseas for is available on home soil.  Yet I know you, like me, are yearning to adventure abroad.
